The next generation of the popular Hare™ PnP stationary decoder (patent pending) for the Tortoise™ Switch Machine is now shipping. Version I has been significantly improved to make wiring even easier along with other new features.

All Power Routing is now controlled by a user selectable dip switch. Version II that provides FEEDBACK and Switch Position reporting for Digitrax LocoNet, Lenz ExpressNet and NCE CAB Bus is also shipping. Version II also includes all the updated features of Version I.

A quick note to report how delighted I am with the  'REV N' version of the 'Hare'. I received the 13 Hares  last week and installed and configured all 13 in under an hour - perfect performance, no surprises. When coupled with NCE's powerful, yet elegantly simple 'macro' system, the Hare provides a level of flexibility and set of  capabilities that is simply unmatched in the hobby today. I'll be back for about 25 more 'REV N's' as I continue to convert my layout to this product.

Plugs Directly on to Tortoise™: Simplifies wiring and reduces failures.
Auto Throw™ Automatically throws points when a train is approaching against the points!
Auto Throw™ Timer: Provides for timing the auto throw function to prevent two trains from colliding.
Smart Route™ Sets up to 13 routes by simple address programming in addition to the primary decoder address.
Dispatcher Over-Ride™: Allows the Dispatcher to lock out all other switch commands.
Locked Route Control™: Provides for only one route direction response for either a Throw or Clear command.
Switch Speed Control™: Allows you to control the Tortoise™ motor speed.
Smart Default Ops™: Upon Power-up, Hare™S return to either last thrown position or a programmed default.
