Installation Pics of Soundtraxx DSD090 in
Atlas HO S4.

Hi Tony,
I send you some pictures about of a DSD-90 ALCO into
a S4 ATLAS locomotive, It is hard but not is impossible, I installed
two speakers in series conected one of them is 3/4 in the low part
of the frame and I protected it whit a grid that it was a part of
the old headphone, and other mini oval speaker in the cab area .
To reduce the frame I used a drill press and a high speed steel
cutter # 194 and 115 of Dremel, rotaty tool too. I fit the mini
oval speaker in order to make a little baffle between the ceiling
of the cab and the speaker. For put the decoder I reduced to the
steel until the flywheels in order to get to it dont graze whit
the decoder. Like the part that was reduced is flying I beat it
with cyanoacrylate. For finish I fit with a tape.
Note: You must be very carefully when you are solder
the motor terminal, if you hot it so much you can make damages in
the plastic.
