ESU LokSound Confusion

ESU Products

ESU has been shipping their standard V3.5 decoder in packaging marked LokSound Select. Sometimes the "LokSound Select" is crossed out and sometimes not so, examine your orders carefully to be sure.

The LokSound Select is their newly released decoder which is still not shipping although it was scheduled for a November release. We have heard that the LokSound decoders may be infringing on some US patents and that the parties are "working things out". This may explain why LokSound has delayed the release of their new "Select" offering.

Seems like ESU has been having difficulty geting their act together in the last several months, we never received a reply to their posting false information!

"Unfortunately we are unable to release any info at this time due to false statements that LokSound has published in conjunction with their new product announcements. We advise folks to wait for the correct information which heretofore we have requested from ESU but to date have not received or been replied to."

Note: All sound files may not be immediately available. ESU is not able to give a release date for the software necessary to use the LokSound Programmer with the LokSound Select decoder.
